AFCYRs to celebrate Constitution Day at September meeting

Join the Arlington Falls Church Young Republicans on Monday, September 21st, as we celebrate Constitution Day with Cato Institute's Trevor Burrus, research fellow for the Center for Constitutional Studies and managing editor of the Cato Supreme Court Review.

In addition to celebrating Constitution Day, the AFCYRs will also be celebrating the return of the complimentary nacho bar!

Mmmm, nachos.

The celebration kicks off at 7:00pm upstairs at Hard Times Cafe in Clarendon, and the meeting starts promptly at 7:30.

You can view all the details and RSVP on Facebook right here. Also, please share that link on your Facebook and invite your friends.

Other important meeting details:

If you would like to run for either of the vacant executive board positions (Vice Chairman, Treasurer), you MUST submit your intent to run to Elections Chair Jeff Wernsing in writing before the meeting.

If you want to know more about either position, simply reply to this email with questions. I am more than willing to explain more about those roles.

ALSO, we will be collecting items for Doorways, a community-based organization that "creates pathways out of domestic violence and homelessness leading to safe and stable lives."

Doorways requests that you donate pull-ups (2T-5T), paper towels, toilet paper, and Safeway or Giant gift cards. You can view a full list of requested in-kind items here.
