The Year Ahead

With the new year upon us, the AFCYRs are busy planning for 2015. And there's much to look forward to.
Pete Snyder and AFCYR Chairman Matthew Hurtt issued a challenge to the Young Republicans for 2015: Grow membership 25% to 250 members. The good news is, we're already halfway there.
Additionally, the AFCYRs are going to increase our presence in the community by beefing up our Community Service Committee. We plan to get more involved with groups like the Arlington Food Assistance Center and other local, community-based organizations.
We're already lining up speakers for our monthly meetings, which are held at 7pm on the 3rd Monday of the month upstairs at Hard Times Cafe in Clarendon.
And later this spring, we will be attending the Young Republican Federation of Virginia Convention.
We're excited for 2015, and hope you are too. If you aren't yet a member of the AFCYRs, consider joining todayBy becoming a member, you're investing in the largest and most active YR club in Virginia.
